Innerworld

Description

The Toronto duo returns after dominating the charts with their track “Real Hero” featured in the film DRIVE. The duo ELECTRIC YOUTH releases a new album, Innerworld. The album was conceived in the two artists’ home studio in Los Angeles, while the vocals were recorded at their Toronto studio, where Austin’s collection of vintage synths was used to create the beautiful analog sounds present on the record. In L.A., the band watched a large number of old films and this can be felt on several tracks. Peter Jackson’s Heavenly Creatures inspired “Runaway,” while Metropolis, City of God, After Hours, and Videodrome influenced the atmosphere and feel of the record.
