« ARCTIC » is a conceptual album by the rising Norwegian star, violinist Eldbjorg Hemsing, and the Arctic Philharmonic orchestra. It is filled with captivating melodies and impressive orchestral soundscapes that build before your ears like a breathtaking landscape as one follows nature through the seasons and habitats of the Arctic. The « ARCTIC » is an audiovisual journey into the Arctic region, celebrating the fragile and largely unknown beauty of an ecosystem threatened by climate change at an unprecedented speed. « ARCTIC » was recorded in the city of Bodo, in the Norwegian Arctic Circle, with the Arctic Philharmonic orchestra. The album is produced by British producer Jonathan Allen, Grammy and BAFTA winner (Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Lisa Batiashvili, Andrea Bocelli). The music supervisor is British composer and conductor Ben Palmer (Max Richter, John Williams). Jacob Shea wrote «The Arctic Suite» and Russell Emanuel is the producer of the music from Bleeding Fingers Music. Bleeding Fingers is a composition studio based in Los Angeles and a joint venture between Sony Publishing and Hans Zimmer. This is the first long-format piece of music that the company has written exclusively for a musical production and concerts.
