After more than 12 years, here is the highly anticipated return of the pioneers of industrial and experimental rock: Einstürzende Neubauten. After a French appearance headlining the Villette Sonique in Paris in 2017, the cult band presents us with their new album: Alles In Allem.
The album marks the quintessence of the band's production, opening an unexpected door in 40 years of sound research by the experimental group led by their charismatic leader Blixa Bargeld. The German formation, like almost no other band on our planet, has managed to create a true musical cosmos. Einstürzende Neubauten has, in fact, created its own genre by combining sounds with sophisticated poetry. As it should be during this Year of the Rat (a symbol of ingenuity and versatility according to the Chinese zodiac), the band does not rest on the laurels of its last four decades. On the contrary, it continues to curiously explore everything that the sound universe can produce that is most ingenious. The unique soundscapes of the band, founded in 1980 in Berlin, reveal the timelessness that Blixa Bargeld, N. U. Unruh, Alexander Hacke, Jochen Arbeit, and Rudolph Moser have continually managed to maintain. The avant-garde remains at the heart of Blixa and his band's creations. Its radicalism is now less abrasive and often more imbued with poetry.
With Alles In Allem, the cult band of the Berlin industrial rock scene demonstrates once again the full extent of its talent.
