Love, a sweet drug that lasts and inspires, as evidenced by Edouard Bielle's very first EP: LOVERDOSE, due out on Cracki Records on October 13!
After three singles (praised by Les Inrocks and broadcast on FIP) and two music videos from which we can guess a taste for vintage brought up to date, this new stage further solidifies his universe, somewhere between yesterday and today, sincerity and lightness.
Throughout the album, in which we find a little of Christophe or Polnareff but especially a lot of Edouard Bielle, we let ourselves be carried away by his brilliant synth sounds and his high-pitched voice with which he unreservedly shares the different facets of his life, often punctuated by love stories.
A love sometimes difficult to erase from his memory in "Je t’oublie déjà", a passionate romance with a mystical land in "Parikía", an excess of feeling in "Loverdose", or even a common and vulgar behavior he mocks in "Jaloux".
And even with "Vitiliboy" when he tells us about his vitiligo and the apprehension of seeing his body change, it's a way for him to learn to love himself as he is.
A personality and talent that quickly caught the eye of some, such as Myd, the hitmaker made in Ed Banger with whom Edouard collaborated closely for a "Radio Edit" version of his single "Loverdose", and Johan Papaconstantino, the artist who reinvents Greek-Oriental music, who chose Edouard to open several of his shows during his tour in France.
Edouard will defend his album on stage at La Maroquinerie in Paris on February 14. A symbolic date for this love addict.
