At 15, the cellist Edgar Moreau won the Young Soloist Prize at the Rostropovich Competition, and at 17, the second prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition. In 2013, he signed an exclusive contract with Erato, and his first recording was released in 2014. "Instrumental Solo Revelation of the Year" at the 2013 Victoires de la musique classique, he was "Instrumental Soloist of the Year" at the 2015 edition. Since then, Edgar has continued to sweep all the awards and has become a media darling, both for his exceptional talent and his radiant youth. Today, a collection of cello concertos is released, bringing together hits (the Haydn concerto or those by Vivaldi) and a world premiere: the concerto by Carlo Graziano, a contemporary composer of Haydn. In front of this 21-year-old artist is the young ensemble Il Pomo d'Oro, conducted by Riccardo Minasi.
