An insatiable curious mind, the French composer and guitarist Mathias Duplessy constantly seeks to diversify his sources of inspiration and collaborate with artists from all traditions, thus breaking down genre boundaries to achieve a unique style. In 2010, he created the "Violins of the World" project, which today includes Sabir Khan (India, Sarangi), Zied Zouari (Tunisia, oriental violin), Guo Gan (China, Erhu), Madaakh Daansuren (Mongolia, Morin Khuur and vocals), and Aliocha Regnard (France-Sweden, Nyckelharpa). The Violins of the World once again cross their bows on a fourth album, "The Road with You." A true musical road movie, these compositions with pop, cinematic, jazz, or minimalist accents, whether sung or instrumental, coexist and intertwine around traditional sounds and musicalities, offering a rare moment of brotherhood, communion, and energy!
