"Soul Sound System" is the first album by the most beautiful soul group in Denmark, D/troit. Since its release in 2017, its music has traveled far, finding its place in record collections and playlists around the world, as well as in television shows and advertisements, most recently on Reacher on Amazon Prime, in Chanel's Christmas campaign, and for the NFL Draft.
Gabe Roth, co-founder of Daptone Records, which is both a studio and a label, adds another stamp to D/troit's soul passport. Roth is the main man behind the mixing console at Daptone and is also an excellent musician and songwriter for many of their artists. He has notably worked for The Heavy, Sharon Jones and The Dapkings, Charles Bradley, The Budos Band, Lily Allen, etc…
