DRAKEN is a hard-hitting trio from Oslo, Norway. Musically, they move between heavy rock and metal. Formed in 2019, the band offers uncompromising rock, rooted in the legacy of HIGH ON FIRE, MOTÖRHEAD and ENTOMBED. With down-tuned guitars, massive riffs and a wall of sound, DRAKEN aims to capture the raw, natural essence of rock music - through powerful songs, tight musicianship and impressive sonic force. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2021, followed by the highly acclaimed "Book of Black", both released on the Swedish label Majestic Mountain Records. In 2026, the band will release their third album, Here Be Dragons, on the Bergen-based label Dark Essence Records - recorded at Amper Tone and produced by the band in collaboration with engineer Kim Lillestøl.For fans of ENTOMBED, HIGH ON FIRE, MOTORHEAD.
