“Ethic Of Radical Finitude” presents itself as the most melodic, structured, and dynamic album from the international quartet Downfall Of Gaia. It features the epic and aggressive sounds that the band has mastered over their albums. Unlike previous albums, “Ethic Of Radical Finitude” is not a concept album, but the tracks unite by revolving around a core theme that gives coherence to the project as a whole. Singer/guitarist Dominick Goncalves Reis shared his thoughts on the album, saying: “This new opus consists of long atmospheric melodies that give the album time to breathe, and on the other hand, it features screaming and breathtaking melodies unique to our identity.” The album was worked on at Hidden Planet Studio in Berlin by Jan Oberg and at Backroom Studio (New Jersey) with Kevin Antreassian of The Dillinger Escape Plan. A handful of guests also contributed to the album, such as Nikita Kamprad (Der Weg Einer Freiheit) and their long-time friend Mers Sumida from Black Table.
