Description

The fifth studio album and first solo album in 15 years by Don Henley. It takes its name from the Texas county where Don Henley grew up. It was produced by Don Henley and Stan Lynch, who also co-wrote 11 tracks on the album. It represents both Henley's roots and a new stage in his creative journey. Recorded primarily in Nashville, Tennessee, and Dallas, Texas, Cass County includes appearances by Merle Haggard, Miranda Lambert, Mick Jagger, Martina McBride, Jamey Johnson, Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, and Dolly Parton. Don Henley has received countless awards, numerous gold and platinum records, and has played to sold-out crowds around the world. A highly respected and popular artist, he is also a founding member, singer, and songwriter of the Eagles. Henley's solo career is equally acclaimed, with hits such as Dirty Laundry, Heart Of The Matter, Boys Of Summer, The End Of The Innocence, and All She Wants To Do Is Dance. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, and will receive the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors for his work with the Eagles.
