Dolly Parton is an American country and pop singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist musician, as well as an actress, screenwriter, businesswoman, and producer. After more than half a century of uninterrupted career, she has become, among other things, the Queen of Country Music. Considering herself more of a country than a rock artist, she initially declined the offer (not feeling 100% legitimate, but eventually accepted). The artist promised to return with a rock album, to be in line with this honorary title.
