Description
For black metal fans, Dødheimsgard needs no introduction, being one of the major contributors to the creative evolution of Norwegian black metal. The band was formed in 1994 by Aldrahn (Thorns) and Vicotnik (Ved Buens Ende). The first incarnation was that of a raw and often melodic black metal band, with their debut album also featuring Fenriz from Darkthrone on bass. In recent years, Dodheimsgard has become known for its eclectic musical adventures and poignant mood shifts, with a less chaotic and more thoughtful approach compared to their earlier works.
