DNVR is one of the rising stars of the French Neo-Soul scene, merging the sensual grooves of the 60s, the vibrant soul of Motown, and the subtle improvisation of jazz. Composed of seven passionate musicians, the group offers music that is both rich and modern, where flamboyant brass, enchanting rhythms, and warm vocals intertwine to create an intense live experience. Since its inception, DNVR has built a solid reputation on stage, with around thirty concerts to its credit and prestigious opening acts for Faada Freddy and The Brooks. These performances have confirmed their status as a band to watch, capable of captivating and resonating with all generations. Alongside their live career, DNVR has won several competitions and support programs for emerging artists such as Blues de Traverse, INKUBB, GO, and Pop-Up, proving the quality of their artistic proposal. Their music, at the crossroads of genres, is a call to journey between deep soul roots and bold modernity. 2025 will mark a turning point with the release of their first album, a highly anticipated work that will be available on vinyl and on streaming platforms. This album has been mixed by Arnaud Fradin, leader of the Nantes-based group Malted Milk, and mastered in Los Angeles by Gerard Albo, a sound engineer who has worked with Amy Winehouse. This album will be accompanied by a launch tour, a key step to further affirm their musical identity. The group collaborates with Yvan Cahagne, a loyal director who accurately captures the essence of their live performances in immersive videos. Their synergy is reflected in live sessions filmed at the Gare aux Musiques, highlighting the raw energy and elegance of DNVR. DNVR is much more than just a Neo-Soul band; it is a constantly evolving collective, ready to leave its unique mark on the French music scene.
