Prom Nite

Description

DJ Yoda invites you to be his +1 for "Prom Nite," his new album that promises a retro Americana full of daydreams, featuring international megastar guests and trip hop that showcases the influence of artists like Morcheeba and Nightmares on Wax. Think of a deliciously harmonized doo-wop that enigmatically begins with the track 'Breathe' featuring Hollywood star Lily James, demonstrating Yoda's ongoing evolution as a musician. This is a cleverly executed sonic clash, with contributions from rapper Choosey, a star of the hip-hop scene in LA. The album is filled with many talking points, but the opening single "Feel Like Home," led by the warm House Gospel Choir, is a true pick-me-up for your down days. Moreover, still in an alternative yet equally catchy form, "Don't Mean Thing" by Beardyman already heralds the summer festival season. You got it, this album marks the strong return of DJ Yoda and his famous antics on the turntables, allowing for free expression and paying homage to the classic chemistry of Cut Chemist, while staying true to the flavors of "Home Cooking"...
