DJ Nu-Mark is a veteran of the hip hop group Jurassic 5. Since his 2004 instrumental solo album Blend Crafter, he has kept busy. His music has appeared in films such as Scratch, Coachella: The Movie, and Rock The Bells: The Documentary. His DJ sets have earned him a reputation around the world, and he has produced tracks and remixes for Nas, Damian Marley, and The Lonely Island, among others. Following his 2012 album Broken Sunlight, DJ Nu-Mark is showing no signs of slowing down, releasing two 45s, including this one, which features a remix of "Oya Indebure" with Laudir de Oliveira and the dirty funk of "Tough Break."
