Sentimental Ultra Vinyle Fuchsia

Description

Sentimental Ultra marks DJ HEARTSTRING’s official debut with their first album. Initially intended as a mixtape, the project took a different direction thanks to a few happy accidents. This 15-track album explores not only the euphoria of peak club moments and what they can create, but also everything that surrounds them. The before and after. The softness and the raw energy. Their youthful feelings. Featuring collaborations with SWIM, Spriitzz, BAUGRUPPE90, Sam Gellaitry, Saidah, DMA'S, KennyHoopla, Monk, 3NDLES5, David Jackson and a mystery artist, they weave influences from their formative years, such as indie rock, rap, ambient and breakbeat, into their very distinctive sound, balancing them with decidedly contemporary ideas. This blend of worlds is also at the heart of the album’s visual concept. Sentimental Ultra is an exploration that blurs the boundaries between hard and soft, drawing inspiration from the underground communities of hooliganism and skateboarding. The cover is by the iconic British photographer Ewen Spencer, known for his work on Skins, The Streets and many other projects. To date, the project has already reached several major milestones on international airwaves, including securing a prestigious residency on BBC Radio 1 in November. Since their debut in 2021, marked by the explosive arrival of their EPs “Destiny of the Moment” and “Eternal Euphoria,” as well as a series of self-produced edits with pop and R&B influences, DJ HEARTSTRING have followed their instincts and won over an ever-growing audience thanks to an emotional dance music style that quickly became their signature. Among their standout releases are the EP “You Are The Sun, I Am The Sky” in 2025 and notable collaborations with renowned artists such as SWIM, Narciss, southstar and KETTAMA (S.C.D.D.). Recent years have also seen remixes for Charli XCX and Sam Smith, Romy, The Sugababes and Empire of the Sun, sets at venues as prestigious as Berghain and London’s Roundhouse, their Teenage Dream parties and an essential contribution to BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix series.
