Dinos will release his first album "Imany" on April 27, 2018. It is first as "Dinos Punchlinovic" that he makes a name for himself thanks to his performances at Rap Contenders alongside Nekfeu, before releasing "Apparences," his first EP marked by the success of the track "Namek" in 2015. Three years later, the rapper from La Courneuve is no longer Dinos Punchlinovic from Rap Contenders but simply Dinos, an artist finally ready to unveil his first album, "Imany" (which means "faith" in Swahili). It seems that Dinos doesn't like to do things like everyone else, nor to rush his work. This probably explains why the Parisian MC wanted to take his time to perfect this vibrant, finely crafted record. Listening to Imany, it is therefore necessary to forget a good part of what we knew about Dinos. Lending an ear to "Argentic," "Iceberg Slim," "Flashé" (the first single, unanimously praised for the quality of the track and the clip) or "Bloody Mary," is indeed to discover a new man, perpetually on the lookout for a melodic find ("if I'm not in creativity, my brain dies"), a free rapper, completely reinvented, who doesn't care about playing the gangster, the conscious MC, or the poet, an artist who "didn't necessarily seek to make rap tracks, but as many songs as possible that can still be listened to in several years. The idea was to be in tune with the times without necessarily sticking to the trend." When Dinos utters these words, a mix of sincerity and pride is visible on his face. We understand him, as this ambition makes "Imany" a remarkable record, supported by prestigious collaborations (Joke, Youssoupha), with productions by Still Nas or Richie Beats.
