Everyone knows that DJ KOZE possesses almost prophetic qualities, not only as a producer & DJ but also as an artistic director and talent scout. He had foreseen the success of Dominique Dillon de Byington, aka Dillon. In the DIY (Do It Yourself) movement, Dillo creates beautiful nursery rhymes, performs improvised concerts on Ustream via her webcam, and posts them on Youtube. That's how, following KOZE's words, Daniel & Ellen from Bpitch noticed her and instantly fell under her spell. Only 23 years old and already a single on the defunct but respected label KITTY YO, a feature with COMA (signed to Kompakt) leads her to "THIS SILENCE KILLS," her 1st album on BPITCH, the label of ELLEN ALLIEN. A sublime voice, a fragility that gives you chills, no wonder she cites Billy Holiday, Jeff Buckley & Jean Michel Basquiat as sources of inspiration.....this first album will establish her, that's for sure!
