The first self-titled album by the German/Greek/Finnish band is expected to create a surprise with its prestigious line-up composed of R.D. Liapakis, singer of the German band Mystic Prophecy, the eminent Jörg Michael, drummer of the Finnish band Stratovarius, who brought along the bassist Jarl Kainulainen to perfect the rhythm, a member of the prog metal band Evergrey. The dynamic trio is accompanied by guitarist Lakis Ragazas, a newcomer who should not remain unknown for long. A bluesy and groovy sound that we did not expect from musicians who have made a career in power metal. A sound that relies on powerful riffs in the pure lineage of US blues rock but with all the dynamics inherent in metal playing. Devil's Train is a solid Rock'N'Roll album that proves that the music scene still has the ability to surprise us.
