Moola Mantra

Description

Moola Mantra (the "root" Mantra) is inspired by a vision of the Avatars Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma. Their vision of Oneness pays tribute to all spiritual paths, religions, beliefs, and traditions. Deva Premal wanted to dedicate an entire album to this single Mantra as an offering to the benevolent generosity of these holy beings. Her beautiful voice is accompanied and surrounded by extraordinary musicians: Miten on vocals, Manose, the virtuoso Nepali flutist who now accompanies Premal and Miten in concert on the bansuri flute, Jai Uttal on dotar, Kit Walker on piano, Peter Van Gelder on zither, Debopriyo Sarkar on tablas, Moses Sedler on cello, and Ben Leinbach on keyboards, guitars, bass, tampura, and percussion.
