The grand return of the punk rock band on Epitaph, twelve years after their last album. Here it is, the punk rock band DESCENDENTS makes its grand return on Epitaph, 20 years after releasing its last album on the label, Everything Sucks. This is also their first album in 12 years. Hypercaffium Spazzinate was announced in 2010, during a concert at the Fun Fun Fun Fest in 2010. When they were not reuniting to work on the album, singer Milo Aukerman, bassist Karl Alvarez, drummer and DESCENDENTS founder Bill Stevenson, and guitarist Stephen Egerton were preparing the album remotely, from all corners of the United States. They took more than three years to finalize this new opus. The choice to compose over such a long period is just proof of their desire not to rush things, and to release a strong and solid album.
