In June 2000, American band Deftones released their 3rd studio album, White Pony. Driven by the success of the singles "Change (In the House of Flies)" and "Digital Bath," White Pony is now a landmark album. Inspired by DJ Shadow's Entroducing..., the members of Deftones had the idea at the time to ask DJ Shadow to reimagine White Pony, and to call the result Black Stallion. 20 years later, the band carefully selected several artists (including DJ Shadow!) to bring this idea to life. White Pony is thus being re-released in a new edition (White Pony (20th Anniversary Edition)), accompanied by Black Stallion as a bonus. Black Stallion includes all 11 tracks from the first edition of White Pony, remixed in 2020.
