More than four decades, 110 million albums, and billions of streams later, the British quintet inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, composed of Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, Rick Allen, Phil Collen, and Vivian Campbell, invites us to discover their twelfth studio album Diamond Star Halos. Musically, the album is a return to the inspirations of their early days, invoking the spirit of David Bowie, T. Rex, and Mott The Hoople, to name just a few. "We fell back into the music that excited us when we were younger," says Phil Collen. "The years 1971 to 1973 marked a turning point for us." After performing alongside him at the tribute concert for David Bowie, Joe invited legendary pianist Mike Garson to participate in Diamond Star Halos. His immeasurable talent enhances "Goodbye For Good This Time" and "Angels (Can't Help You Now)" with epic string arrangements building to a crescendo. Def Leppard is also duetting with Alison Krauss on two tracks.
