From 1988 to 1993, the Dutch doom/death metal band Dead End was considered one of the pioneers and most promising in this style. They attracted the attention of a few good labels, but unfortunately, they never managed to release a full-length album, not until their reunion in 2015. After two demos ("Tales" - 1991 & "Purity" - 1992) and the 7" vinyl "Wartime In Eden" (1993), the band broke up.
Vic Records released these tracks as a compilation CD in 2014. After the release quickly sold out, Doc Records is now reissuing this album.
