David McNeil (son of the painter Marc Chagall, novelist, composer, and lyricist for Julien Clerc, Jacques Dutronc, Alain Souchon, Laurent Voulzy, Robert Charlebois, -M-, Yves Montand, and many others) is one of the greatest French singer-songwriters.
