This new album includes 2 major works from the violin repertoire, the concertos by Brahms & Bruch, conducted by Zubin Mehta with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. The meeting between the violinist and the conductor is not a coincidence, as they have already worked together several times over the last 20 years, the first time when David was only 12 years old! It is a great honor for me to perform these 2 works alongside this orchestra and a renowned conductor. It is a kind of accomplishment in my career as a violinist. But while each violinist has their own sound, their own way of interpreting the work, in the end, the only thing that matters is the composition. Everything is in the score and all that matters to me is to be faithful to it, says David Garrett. David is very faithful to the intentions of the composers. In a very classical perspective, which is that of his musical environment, he puts his musicality and talent at the service of his interpretation, adds Zubin Mehta.
