Baroque Encores

Description

David Fray stands out today as one of the most renowned French pianists, widely acclaimed for his interpretations of Bach. In this new album, which marks his return after several years of silence, the artist draws inspiration from "L'Enfant oublié", a theatrical project co-created with Chiara Muti, dedicated to raising awareness about disability. He presents a repertoire including original keyboard works by Bach, Rameau, and Scarlatti, as well as piano transcriptions of Handel, Vivaldi, Royer, and J.S. Bach by legendary pianists such as Kempff, Siloti, Busoni, and Stradal.
