David Aaron Carpenter, the brilliant American violist, has chosen to record for his new album with Warner Classics the Concertos for viola by Bartok and Walton, the arrangement of the cello concerto by Dvorak as well as several pieces by the Russian composer Alexey Shor in world premiere. Accompanied by the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Kazushi Ono (Dvorák), Vladimir Jurowski (Bartók & Walton) and David Parry (Shor).
