Wooh Dang

Description

Daniel Norgren grew up in Boras, Sweden, a city of 70,000 inhabitants where no one was as interested in American "roots" music as he was. Even his father, a guitarist and collector of American rock records, did not intervene in his son's musical development. Armed with a battered guitar with three strings and unwavering determination, Norgren began to explore the roots of the music of Bob Dylan and Robert Johnson. One day during a vacation, he wrote a poem and decided to pair it with his guitar playing. It can be said that Norgren built his sound palette in solitude and introspection. The result today is a new studio album, Wooh Dang, composed of 10 original tracks filled with sensitivity, beauty, and tinged with a joyful melancholy that makes you forget time and space. Like a world apart, comfortable, reassuring… enchanting.
