Reynaldo Hahn (1874-1947): String Quartet No. 1 in A minor, Romance for Violin and Piano in A Major, String Quartet No. 2 in F Major, Singing Variations on an Old Air for Cello and Piano, Two Improvisations on Irish Airs for Cello and Piano, Quintet for Piano and Strings in F# minor. Among the vast repertoire he explores, the Tchalik Quartet has always reserved a special place for French music, and it is no surprise that the Palazzetto Bru Zane invited this talented ensemble as part of the celebrations for its 10th anniversary in Venice in September 2019. A beautiful mark of recognition, this concert was entirely dedicated to Reynaldo Hahn (1874-1947) and featured the four string players and pianist Dania Tchalik, the eldest of the siblings.
