Dafna, 21 years old, singer-songwriter and producer, has everything to please. From the age of 4, she trained in classical piano, and by 11, she was writing and singing her own songs. At 17, she added recording and production skills to her toolkit and forged her creative journey with sharp instincts, eclectic tastes, and newfound independence. With the release of her first single in 2019, "if you're a dove," the hypnotic blend of folk and minimalist electronic pop that characterizes Dafna flourished. Less than three years later, she has already independently released two albums and an EP, all while studying electrical and computer engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. On her brand new studio album, When I Was With You, Dafna takes a deep dive into the different versions of herself and the other people in her life. It is the journey of trying to understand who you are after losing a loved one and learning to navigate life without that person.
