Description

CYNIC is finally back with a highly anticipated third album. While it is the worthy successor to the cult classics "Focus" (1993) and "Traced in Air" (2008), "Kindly Bent to Free Us" nonetheless continues the evolution begun with the EP "Carbon-Based Anatomy" (2011): music that is still as progressive and airy as ever, but more rock-oriented than metal. The virtuosity of the musical geniuses Paul Masvidal, Sean Reinert and Sean Malone is expressed better than ever through mind-blowing passages of dexterity and melody.
