A UNIQUE SONIC HURRICANE! Raw, frontal rock sound, in Occitan. It is with a powerful and hypnotic guitar that the band CXK begins its second album, 'Castèls dins la Luna'. Guitarist and singer Paulin Courtial and drummer Dimitri Kogane escape the mountains to conquer the American deserts. Recorded and mixed in a record six days in Chicago, from September 25 to 30, 2023, this cathartic album promises total immersion in the duo's unique universe, between raw American post-rock energy and nervous melodies in the Occitan language. It's no coincidence that the duo cites 'Queens Of The Stone Age' to describe tracks like Cal viure amb son temps or Negra fin, driven by their heavy riffs and vocals that oscillate between anger and melancholy. - - They have absorbed all facets of alternative rock and much more. The highly inspired Enrico draws his influences from the Oslo duo, Aiming For Enrike. With only a guitar and drums, CXK creates an almost electro, instrumental track, recorded like a loop but without being one, a trance reminiscent of repetitive field chants, three-minute looping melodies, a rhythmic magic trick.
