Cutty Sark, born in the former German capital Bonn, was like Warlock one of the German bands on the Mausoleum label. After a self-produced EP (1983), they obtained the desired contract and presented their first LP named "Die Tonight" (1984). The record received very good reviews and the band also appeared in Metal Hammer with interviews and even a poster. The second album "Heroes" (1985) also experienced success. It was surprising that this band from the Mausoleum label did not achieve the expected breakthrough. At the end of the 90s, the last album "Regeneration" was released. It was also the last sign of life from the band. Since then, the members have all disappeared from the radar. The two albums released on Mausoleum, notably "Die Tonight", are now considered important milestones of 80s German Metal. T-shirts, bootlegs, and the frequent sharing of YouTube videos on social media clearly show that Cutty Sark has become cult. And when the craziest American fan and singer "King Fowley" and his band Doomstone cover the song "Die Tonight" while wearing Cutty Sark shirts on stage, it further emphasizes the intergenerational status of the Germans. The album contains a text by King Fowley, photos. It has been remastered by Neudi (Manilla Road).
