The Swedish metal band CURSE OF CAIN releases its new self-titled album on May 12, 2023, via Atomic Fire Records. The band consists of singer Soulkeeper, singer and percussionist Rainbow, bassist singer The Pirate, guitarist Timekeeper, and drummer Mechanic. The album was recorded between 2017 and 2020 in their own studio and was mixed and mastered by Alexander Backlund at Nailvillage Studio. The artwork is created by Georgios Grigoriadis and Jonas Asplind. Get ready for Movie Metal with a dark twist! The stories of CURSE OF CAIN take place in a dystopian futuristic world and revolve around a group of Misfits, who travel the world and perform shows to keep their main goal unnoticed: to save the world and protect it from parasites that infect humans - here in this dark future of the year 2076... This unique project creates a complete cinematic universe with many special characters that tell us omnipresent cyberpunk stories through music, film, and images. The music tells the stories of a character named Cain and his life. We enter the story after the red war in the year 2076, and there, we follow the struggles of The Band and Cain in this world. This first album, mixed and mastered by Alexander Backlund, focuses on how Cain became who he is and the struggles he faced throughout his long life.
