Babygirl (Original Soundtrack) - Pink Vinyl

Description

Babygirl (Original Soundtrack) is the original soundtrack for the film directed by Halina Reijn, starring Nicole Kidman, Harris Dickinson, Sophie Wilde, and Antonio Banderas. Composed by Cristobal Tapia de Veer, it was released on December 25, 2024, via A24 Music. The score, built around 12 tracks, highlights two major themes: Mommy’s Dollhouse and Wolves. The first blends piano, strings, and operatic vocals in a four-hand duet with his partner Kim Neundorf, alternating between a waltz melody and a military march—a contrast that reflects Romy's double life, caught between apparent sweetness and icy discipline. With Wolves, Tapia de Veer explores the character's intimate metamorphosis through distorted vocal effects, animalistic breaths, and growls evoking a transformation into a she-wolf. A visceral and unsettling composition, custom-made to accompany the film's psychological tension. Pink vinyl edition.
