La bagarre
Description
Three years after his first album, Guillaume Cantillon (ex Kaolin), under the name COURCHEVAL, releases LA BAGARRE, a deliberately provocative title that opens onto twelve finely crafted songs. The album unfolds the portrait of a man in love confronted with the passing years: the wear and tear of the couple, the failures owned up to, the traps avoided. The narration is intimate without being mawkish, sensuality and romanticism find their full place here. The production, both modern and timeless, is the result of a true territorial patchwork between Auvergne and Landes. In Montluçon, in his home studio, Guillaume records himself on most instruments, like so many sonic selfies; at Manoir de Léon, he immortalizes the contributions of his fellow travelers, Loïc Maurin's drums and Marceau Rannoux's bass. The mixes, entrusted to Osha, who comes from the urban world, create an unprecedented encounter: a French pop with sophisticated nuances and rare production depth. LA BAGARRE is about unabashed coolness and irresistible melodies. Twelve solid tracks from a playlist designed to fit the vinyl format.Buy La bagarre at the best price
