Always impeccably dressed in their suits, Triggerfinger deliver pure and straightforward rock, not without a refreshing sense of humor, leaning towards the punch of Motörhead, the groove of Marc Bolan, and the energy of Chuck Berry. Through their many tours, this furious riff-machine has built a very solid live reputation as well as a raw and greasy sound that perfectly suits their repertoire. It pulsates, and the audience keeps asking for more!
Triggerfinger consists of guitarist/vocalist Ruben Block, bassist Monsieur Paul, and drummer Mario Goossens. Formed in 1998, the band released 3 albums – "Triggerfinger" (2004), "What Grabs Ya?" (2008), and "All This Dancin' Around" (2010) – before finally achieving success in 2012 thanks to the radio hit “I Follow Rivers” (number 1 in Belgium). It was also that year that the band began to make a name for itself in France following highly electric performances at Les Vieilles Charrues and Solidays.
In 2014, the album "By Absence Of The Sun" was certified gold in Belgium and the Netherlands. The band then shared the stage with The Rolling Stones, Muse, Deep Purple, Die Toten Hosen, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. At the same time, Triggerfinger continued to tour extensively in France and once again made a name for themselves at festivals such as Main Square, Au Pont du Rock, Le Cabaret Vert, and then in 2015, at HellFest!
It's clear that, both on stage and in the studio, Triggerfinger is unmatched in making their rock swing. This is what we will once again see with this new album.
