COLLEGE is back with a third electrifying album. Rich, bright, and nostalgic due to the omnipresence of synthesizers, it immediately recalls the group's biggest hit, 'A Real Hero', the soundtrack of the film Drive, while exploring a unique and conceptual universe, giving the work on the texture and atmosphere of sounds a whole new dimension. "Shangai is an album inspired by the city itself, its culture, and its architecture; about how it has become a giant melting pot." Musically, this album sounds very 90's and includes the works of Mark Snow, Angelo Badalamenti, Joe Hisaishi, and Aphex Twin. David Grellier - the musician behind COLLEGE, also a member of Sexy Sushi - explains: "This record is a mysterious journey into the heart of 1920s Shanghai. An invitation to travel, a tribute to the refinement and delicacy of a whimsical and blurry period that fuels the imagination of musicians, artists, and architects of this mythical city." The singer Hama, born in Shanghai, also honors us with her presence by singing on the track 'Love Peas'.
