First Collection: Hydeout Productions is the founding compilation of the Hydeout Productions label, created by Nujabes (Jun Seba) in the early 2000s. Designed as an artistic business card, this album lays the aesthetic foundations that will permanently define the label's identity: an introspective and melodic hip-hop, deeply influenced by jazz, soul, and instrumental music. The compilation brings together several artists and projects orbiting around Hydeout, highlighting a musical approach centered on atmosphere, harmony, and groove, far removed from the dominant codes of rap at the time.
