Description

Formed in 2004 in California (first above a restaurant in Fullerton, then in Long Beach), this band has members who are a bit too young to have been traumatized by the Cold War, that thankfully bygone era when the USSR and the USA threatened at any moment to drop a good old bomb on Earth in case of a diplomatic breakdown and trigger a third world war. However, they are clearly influenced by the blues rock energy of Jon Spencer or Ben Folds, and that's a good thing. Their songs, ranging from "graduated response" to "massive retaliation," turn out to be lovely little sonic bombs that the astonished listener enjoys watching crash into their auditory canals.
