Nuits agitées

Description

The solo project of Clément Froissart, former member of the band Concorde, tells its story in an ambivalent way. The lightness on one side - a letting go around friendship and love, a rejuvenation in the vein of his first EP - and more intense on the other around fatherhood at the exit of adolescence which is told, sung like a life of a precocious adult. Marie at 21, then a parent at 24, the twenties are normally synonymous with lightness, a carefree mix with student life, but he has reversed the spatio-temporal curve of his adult life. He started by being a young dad. He has now just separated and in a way finds this adolescence again. He explains: “My daughter bridges all of this, musically she inspires me too. She listens to LCD Soundsystem, but also Damso. She is for me an anchor that prevents me from aging.”
This album is a marker of all that. Each song is a step. An album he considers as a gentle therapy. He started it while he was still in a relationship and finished it when his relationship ended. “It’s as if I felt things coming while writing this album.” This album and all its creation process is therefore a path sometimes dark and often bright, that Clément likes to call “life.”
