Description

The intense Rennes-based band Clavicule presents their third album Incoming Blaze, set to be released by Cèpe Records. Defining themselves as a post-garage group, Clavicule embodies music with very diverse influences. The band's tracks offer highly identifiable textures, tearing apart the structures of grunge and punk to incorporate Eastern melodies, impetuous surf rhythms, and haunting progressions. The first album, Garage Is Dead (2020), introduced the band to the public with an urgent work, radically influenced by the Californian scene. Its successor, Full Of Joy (2023), is a more mature realization, richer in arrangements and amplified by a resolutely engaged message. This foray into more refined and nuanced sounds showcases a fluid evolution towards a more accomplished yet still bold music.
