In the artist’s mind, a canvas of subjects unfolds, driven by a deep desire to be purely honest. A booklet of confessions: that’s somewhat what IN EXTREMIS is, nourished by the lyrics of Fernando Pessoa, Headache, or a Tyler The Creator, but also by a Virginie Despentes, whose characters hold no secrets from her audience. The result is a work with balanced musical structures, like unresolved equations. After the success of his first single "Addition," which earned him the mentorship of Eddy de Pretto and led to him opening two of his shows at the Olympia, Claude continues to make waves on television, appearing on Quotidien and Taratata, as well as in national press such as Libération, Europe 2, and Télérama. IN EXTREMIS, Claude’s highly anticipated debut album, is scheduled for release on September 27, 2024.
