Zorro : Les aventures d'un héro légendaire

Description

The action takes place at the beginning of the 19th century in Los Angeles and the surrounding villages. On returning from Spain, where he had been studying, don Diego de la Vega, son of the respectable notable don Alejandro de la Vega, decides to become a vigilante in order to defend the citizens against the tyranny exercised by the garrison under the orders of Commander Monastorio. In order to perfect his camouflage in the eyes of his enemies, the young hero seeks to conceal his skill at fencing and pretends to be a scholar who absolutely does not appreciate fights or politics.
In addition, his faithful mute servant, Bernardo, is also presented as deaf, in order to allow him to loiter near the people to be spied on, while making them believe that he does not understand what they are talking about.
Zorro is accompanied by his horse Tornado, a superb black stallion he had trained before his study trip. The vigilante dresses entirely in black from head to toe, wears a cloth mask that covers only the upper part of his face, and wears a rigid wide-brimmed hat of the same color. The young man chooses for himself a name that he “signs with the point of his sword, with a Z that stands for Zorro.” He never misses an opportunity to ridicule Sergeant García, whom the commander sends after him.
