On April 24, Cirith Ungol will release their new album, “Forever Black”. Cirith Ungol formed in Ventura, California, in the early 1970s, and first appeared on the scene with their self-financed debut album, Frost and Fire, on the Liquid Flame Records label in April 1981. It was an obscure, mysterious and eccentric album, epic and expansive, but above all unfailingly dark. The band is proud to present “Forever Black”: a classic Cirith Ungol album in every sense of the term. Dark and menacing riffs, frenzied rhythms and searing vocal power are immediately recognizable as the Kings of the Dead. In short, “Forever Black” is a testament to Cirith Ungol’s continued vitality and their inexhaustible primacy in the pantheon of classic metal.
