Cinderella is a hard rock band formed in 1983 by singer/songwriter/guitarist Tom Keifer and bassist Eric Brittingham. Cinderella was discovered by Gene Simmons, the bassist of Kiss, but it was Jon Bon Jovi who helped the band sign with Derek Shulman at Polydor/Mercury. The band's first two albums each sold three million copies in the United States. In 1986, the single "Nobody's Fool" became a gold record, although it did not enter the Top 10 of the Billboard charts. Night Songs is the first album from these rockers from Philadelphia, PA, and it set the world on fire! At this point in their career, CINDERELLA had the look and talent to reach the top of the glam scene. Tom Keifer's vocal performance and the guitar of the late Jeff LaBar (who recently passed away) did not put the cart before the pumpkins.
