Description

Epourall is an invitation to the dance of the ball, as well as to intimate listening. For 60 minutes, the energy of the Poitevin dance intertwines with the poetry of the lament, whether transmitted or freshly composed. Epourall (scarecrow in Poitevin) is also the title of a song in Poitevin. It tells the story of a scarecrow that tries, in vain, to play its role in a countryside turned towards industry. A symbol of a poetic peasantry, decimated and despised by the world of performance and machinery. This theme underlies the entire album, both in the lyrics and in the music.
