Ardent defender of the unknown repertoire for oboe, Christopher Palameta embarks on a journey into the heart of the ghost repertoire of Marin Marais. On the occasion of his first collaboration with Audax Records and in worldwide exclusivity, Palameta presents in this recording six suites that have so far been unexplored. A fine connoisseur of the French style, Palameta received in 2003 and 2006 two research grants from the Canadian government to unearth these works and reintegrate them into the oboist's repertoire. This fourth solo album is the result of his work and his passion.
