Christophe Delabaere first sang in choirs in Bergues, then accompanied himself on classical guitar. He quickly composes what he calls ephemeral songs. He joins the music academy in Dunkirk. In the meantime, he discovers fingerstyle guitar, begins to take an interest in jazz, and writes music on demand. Over the next thirty years, his participation in four musical groups allows him to express himself through rock, jazz, and pop… The first album Dense ta vie was released in 2018. The second album Ent'âme, in 2020, was entirely produced alone in Luc Baiwir's studio in Tihange. The new album A l'Envers raises the bar higher. He gives free rein to an intuition that has always been present, here through the richness and originality of arrangements for ten instruments: “I deeply search in my emotions for the meaning of my writing that bursts forth with vibrant music.”
